A charismatic leader guides a buoyant group of friends on a holiday in Italy, where their surreal escapades unfold as a free‑flowing, four‑part multi‑sensual symphony that eschews conventional plot. Critics have likened the boys' anarchic revelry to a dream‑like descent from civilization into chaos, evoking Lord of the Flies.
