On his way home, the teenager crosses paths with a local street gang leader. The confrontation leads to him being blackmailed into committing a robbery that he never intended to partake in.

While navigating the dangers of ancient China, the boy learns about a prophecy tied to 'The Monkey King'. Realizing he might be the ‘Seeker’ of legend adds a sense of purpose to his quest.

The drunkard reveals his expertise in martial arts, providing essential training to the boy. Together, they develop strategies to face imminent threats from the soldiers chasing them.

As they continue their journey, they encounter 'Little Sparrow', a fierce woman on a mission of her own. She joins their alliance, bringing additional skills and determination to their cause.

The trio faces a setback when a bizarre monk steals the priceless staff. This unexpected conflict adds to their challenges, forcing them to track down the Monk and recover their valuable asset.

After retrieving the staff, they discover that the Monk shares a common goal with them. This revelation strengthens their partnership, as they unite to confront the Warlord’s forces.
