After receiving a mysterious VHS tape suggesting a connection to an alien species called the "True Mothers," Amy becomes involved with a local UFO cult. Adopting the name Celisse, she befriends other members and falls under the influence of the cult's enigmatic founder, Ascensia. The group believes they are disciples awaiting contact, and Amy finds herself increasingly drawn into their unusual beliefs and practices.
