The Death of the Incredible Hulk

David Banner masquerades as David Bellamy, a janitor, to gain access to Genecore Laboratory. He believes Ronald Pratt's studies may hold the key to curing his gamma-induced condition. At night he breaks into Pratt's high-security lab to study the research and add his own corrections.

Ronald Pratt discovers the alterations and waits in the lab for his secret helper. He catches David, who reveals his true identity and that the Hulk emerges when he is stressed. The confrontation confirms the link between Banner's condition and Pratt's work.

With Amy's help, Ronald builds a force field cage and sensors to study the Hulk and accelerate healing. The three form a fragile bond as they work on Ronald's healing project and a possible cure for David. The lab becomes a shared space of science and trust over the coming months.

The facility's board pulls Ronald's funding because he refuses to steer his research toward engineered super soldiers. He resolves to push forward with David's treatment despite the setback. Tension grows as resources tighten and deadlines loom.

An Eastern European spy named Jasmine infiltrates the lab during David's unauthorized treatment, expecting no one to be present. Ronald attempts to stop her from taking files, and she shoves him into a table of chemicals, leaving him in a coma. The disruption triggers David's Hulk transformation, and the creature attacks Jasmine before she escapes.

The Hulk overwhelms Jasmine and carries Ronald to safety, then escapes as smoke alarms bring security to the lab. The facility is left in turmoil as alarms echo the emergency. The Hulk vanishes, leaving Ronald unconscious but alive.

With Jasmine's initial evidence insufficient, Kasha orders her to abduct David in the hope that he can fill the gaps in the stolen files. Jasmine prepares for a renewed attempt as her former comrades regroup. The plan sets the spy operation on a new course.

In the resulting clashes, a mortally wounded agent tells Jasmine that Bella is the true leader of the spy network and that she faked her own hostage situation. The revelation reframes Jasmine's view of the mission and injects distrust within the network. The stakes rise as David and his allies become a target again.

David takes Jasmine to her cabin hideaway to treat her bullet wound, and she arranges access to Ronald's hospital room to speak with him. The Hulk's protection during the escape reinforces their growing trust and sparks a romantic connection. They start to rely on each other as the danger from the spy network intensifies.

Jasmine uses her espionage skills to locate the Pratts at an airfield and tips off the authorities. Plans are laid to extract them safely as the network closes in. The airfield becomes the focal point for the final confrontation.

Jasmine slips into the hangar but is captured by the network's torturer Zed. She misdirects him and overcomes him by pretending to swallow a suicide pill, buying time and keeping the Pratts' location hidden. The police tighten the net as the confrontation escalates.

At the airfield, the Pratts are moved to safety as Bella boards a getaway plane with Zed and fires on Kasha. Zed tries to ram Jasmine with the plane, drawing David into a Hulk form for the rescue. The Hulk breaks into the plane, Bella shoots the fuel line, and the plane explodes, killing Bella, Zed, and the Hulk; David reverts to human and succumbs to his injuries. Jasmine, Ronald, and Amy mourn his loss.
