Set in one of Britain’s remote Forbidden Areas, the film follows a brutal killer known only as the Dark Man, who commits a double murder that is witnessed by aspiring actress Molly Lester. Determined to silence her, he pursues her relentlessly, while Detective Inspector Viner of Scotland Yard leads the investigation into the gruesome crimes.
