Espen, nicknamed “Ash Lad,” is a poor farmer’s son who joins his brothers on a perilous journey to rescue a princess. Their quest is to defeat the fearsome Mountain King, a vile troll, and claim a reward that could save their family’s farm from financial ruin. The brothers face numerous dangers as they venture into the troll’s domain to confront the monstrous king and fulfill their daring mission.
