The 3 Worlds of Gulliver

A fierce storm sweeps Gulliver away from his voyage as ship's doctor, leaving him adrift at sea. He is washed ashore on Lilliput, a land of tiny people, and his arrival marks the beginning of an extraordinary journey. Interior Minister Reldresal seeks influence by courting Gwendoline, while Flimnap vies for prime ministership. Gulliver helps Reldresal by foiling Flimnap's assassins, shifting the court's balance in his favor. A dangerous game of loyalties unfolds around him.

Flimnap exposes Reldresal's links to Gwendoline and her banished father Bermogg, leading to Reldresal's arrest. The scandal escalates court intrigue and threatens Gulliver's position within the empire. Suspicion and envy ripple through the palace.

Gulliver frees Reldresal from the tower and reunites him with Gwendoline. From them, he learns the real reasons behind Bermogg's banishment and why Lilliput is at war with Blefuscu, a petty quarrel about which end of an egg to crack. The truth reveals how fragile power and pride can drive nations to conflict.

To end the ongoing conflict, Gulliver takes all of Blefuscu's warships. The bold move enrages the emperor and fuels jealousy as Gulliver's fame grows. The balance of favor within the court shifts dramatically.

A wildfire started by a reckless partygoer threatens the palace and its inhabitants. Gulliver extinguishes it with wine but accidentally ruins the empress's dress, providing the emperor with a pretext to remove him. Pride and paranoia threaten to topple the giant ally.

Facing execution, Gulliver builds a small boat and escapes into the open sea. He leaves Lilliput behind, seeking a new horizon and perhaps a clearer path home. The voyage marks a new chapter in his unequaled journey.

Gulliver lands in Brobdingnag, a land inhabited by giants. A virtuous 40-foot girl named Glumdalclitch finds him and carries him to the king's castle. There, he learns Elizabeth, who also survived a shipwreck, is alive and near him.

The king places Gulliver and Elizabeth in a dollhouse and assigns Glumdalclitch as their caretaker. The king then marries Gulliver to Elizabeth, bringing them into a strange, protective, and affectionate giant world.

During a celebration, a giant squirrel attacks and drags Gulliver into its burrow. Glumdalclitch springs into action, saving him by pulling him out with her hair. The peril underscores the precariousness of life among giants.

Gulliver defeats the king at chess and cures the queen's stomachache, earning praise and suspicion. Prime Minister Makovan accuses him of witchcraft, forcing Gulliver to parrot the king's preferred narrative instead of telling the truth.

The king orders Gulliver's execution, but Glumdalclitch hides him and Elizabeth in her sewing basket, sending them down a brook to the sea. Gulliver later slays the crocodile the king kept as a guardian and escapes, aided by Glumdalclitch's courage.

Gulliver and Elizabeth awaken on a beach near England, realizing it was not a dream. He resolves to settle down with Elizabeth and reflects that the petty flaws of Lilliput and the ignorance of Brobdingnag reside inside everyone, hinting at the enduring capacity for goodness in people like Glumdalclitch.
