Terminator: Dark Fate

In 1998, three years after the fall of Skynet, Sarah Connor struggles with the grief of losing her son, John. Once a leader of the Human Resistance, she becomes a solitary figure, dedicating her life to eliminating any remaining Terminators.

Despite crippling Cyberdyne Systems, Sarah discovers that the military's agenda to create autonomous weapons continues unabated, resulting in the emergence of Legion. This knowledge drives Sarah deeper into her quest against time and technology.

Sarah connects with Dani Ramos, a young woman with a significant destiny of her own. Sarah realizes that Dani will lead a new Resistance against Legion, mirroring her past mentorship of John.

Sarah and John share a peaceful moment at a beach in Livingston, Guatemala, when they are suddenly attacked by a T-800 Terminator. This encounter leads to John's tragic death, deeply affecting Sarah and shifting the trajectory of her mission.

Twenty-two years later, a new advanced model called Rev-9 is sent to Mexico City to eliminate Dani. As she tries to build a better life with her brother Diego, the stakes increase as they navigate constant threats.

Grace, a cyborg soldier from the future, arrives to protect Dani, igniting tension with Sarah. Sarah's suspicion of Grace highlights the complicated dynamics between humanity and machines as they unite against a common enemy.

The Rev-9 tracks Dani and her allies, leading to a deadly confrontation. During these encounters, Diego is killed, intensifying the urgency for the group to devise a strategy to survive.

After being cornered, the group seeks refuge at a motel where they discuss Sarah's alerts about incoming Terminators. The pain of their pasts surfaces as they grow closer, compelled by their shared desire to thwart the Rev-9.

In a major battle at a hydro-power plant, Dani confronts the Rev-9 as Grace makes the ultimate sacrifice. With emotions running high, Dani is pushed to embrace her legacy as a leader against Legion.

In the final moments of conflict, Carl engages the Rev-9, sharing an emotional farewell with Sarah, dedicating his fight to John. The explosion that follows seals the fate of both Carl and the Rev-9, marking a pivotal moment of loss.

Sometime later, Sarah and Dani bond over their shared experiences and newfound purpose. They watch over a ten-year-old Grace in a park, resolutely preparing for the future challenges ahead, embodying hope despite the tumultuous past.
