On Monday, 3 June 2024, a group of 12 teenagers plans to skip school and visit Kanagavalli's village. Nakshatra shares a mysteriously haunted tale about a 500-year-old well, which piques their curiosity about the paranormal. They resolve to go to the village to test their bravery and explore the legend together.

Ayyankali, an orphan and poor classmate who is often ridiculed by peers, joins the group. The teens welcome him as part of their adventure to Kanagavalli's village and to prove their courage.

The group boards a bus but is halted by a protest roadblock against honour killings. They exit and continue on foot toward the village, undeterred by the disruption. The delay foreshadows the perilous journey ahead.

At a roadside stop, an auto-rickshaw driver refuses them a ride. The teens witness scattered trouble as some drink toddy and one member is bitten by a stray dog. They press on despite these hazards.

News of the truancy reaches the school management, triggering a search as frantic parents arrive and the police begin an investigation. Some students mock Ayyankali, but Sara stands up for him.

While the group continues their journey, they play a blindfold game and discover Shaun is missing. Apoorva breaks down, blaming herself for Shaun's disappearance. The tension rises as the group presses deeper into the village vicinity.

Near a graveyard, the group meets Thanikachalam, a drunken man, whom they misunderstand as a ghost. This encounter heightens their fear as they push deeper into the village surroundings.

Tragedy strikes as Nafil goes missing. In a fit of anger, his twin Afil injures himself, and they notice the tree where they rested has vanished. Water appears from the ground, adding to the eerie atmosphere.

Nainika proposes to Adityan and then vanishes, leaving him distraught. The disappearances continue to mount, unsettling the group and their resolve.

Kanagavalli contacts her son to express concern that her granddaughter and friends have not arrived. In the meantime, police are drawn into the situation and a separate interrogation related to Deepa's honour killing interrupts the investigation.

In the forest, the group spots a python, causing Afil to faint. They fear the snake has swallowed someone, so they cut open the python's belly and discover a live goat inside. The moment heightens tension and wonder around the surrounding mystery.

Astrophysicist Jana arrives at the location and suspects radiation signals from the golden disc sent in 1977, hinting at alien presence. She notes electromagnetic waves from Earth have converged at the focal point and decides to investigate further. Her theory connects the missing children to extraterrestrial activity.

A massive alien spaceship appears, and Jana explains that the rovers' samples and Earth's data are part of a larger experiment. Only one sample from each species is required, and Ayyankali volunteers to enter the spaceship to free his friends, with Jana inserting a chip to aid the mission.

Ayyankali travels to Alpha Centauri and later contacts Earth via video call, sharing his journey and confirming the aliens' presence beyond Earth. The event marks a bridge between the two worlds and confirms the extraordinary nature of their mission.

Back on Earth, Jana analyzes samples from a broken rover and discovers a shape resembling Ayyankali. She declares the figure is actually an alien, not the boy, and reveals that she has already seen the alien in the form of the spaceship itself. The film closes with this ambiguous revelation about identity and presence.
