The renowned swordsmith Meng Yezi faced tragedy when his family was destroyed by the traitor Zhao Han, who served the court while forging the legendary Hanguang Sword. He managed to save his son, Meng Yang, entrusting him with the unfinished Chengying Sword. Twenty years later, Meng Yang seeks vengeance for his father's death, but the Chengying Sword remains uncrafted.
