When the Yu family's daughter murders the Green Dragon clan chief's son, the clan seeks revenge, and the chief wounds patriarch Yu Yuan with his signature flying daggers, slaying anyone who defends the family. A wandering swordsman, Ying Qing, intervenes, employing his own flying‑dagger technique to protect the Yus, though his loyalties and true motives remain ambiguous.
