A chief physician at a city hospital creates a serum to revive recently deceased patients. The serum works, reanimating the bodies, which then assault a group of science‑studying students. With the aid of a swamp hermit, a naïve bystander, a park ranger and a police captain, the survivors try to uncover the truth and stay alive.
