Lucy Wong, a Hong Kong insurance investigator, faces intense pressure as a court demands payout on Hiroshi Nakamura's life policy within 14 days. She navigates corporate scrutiny while trying to verify the claim and Hiroshi's whereabouts. The deadline heightens tensions as she schemes to uncover the truth behind the beneficiary.

To obtain Hiroshi's whereabouts, Lucy pretends to be his pregnant girlfriend and contacts Eko, Hiroshi's daughter and a Japan-based actress. The ruse aims to pressure Eko into revealing details about the missing man. Her deception sets off a chain that pulls them toward Indonesia and New Guinea.

Lucy and Eko travel to Indonesia to locate Hiroshi and uncover his last known whereabouts. Eko forces travel agent Abdullah to reveal that Hiroshi was lost in New Guinea. The search shifts from Japan to the New Guinea jungle.

On arrival in New Guinea, the trio is attacked by natives, and Lucy's pregnancy deception is finally exposed. They survive the initial ambush and regroup as they try to understand the island's dangers. The exposure tests their alliance and resolve.

Abdullah explains that two tribes on the island are perpetually at war over perceived disputes, making rescue missions risky. The revelation forces the group to tread carefully through the volatile environment. They must rely on local knowledge to navigate the conflict.

They meet Lung Fei, the mute son of a deceased missionary, who cannot speak Japanese or Chinese and uses Abdullah as a translator. Despite the language barrier, Lung Fei agrees to help them locate Hiroshi. His presence offers a glimmer of hope in the jungle quest.

Lung Fei commits to the mission and, with the others, tracks Hiroshi, who has been kidnapped by drug smugglers. The team plans their approach and prepares to confront the smugglers. The peril intensifies as they push deeper into the smuggling operation.

The group is separated from Lung Fei after another native attack, forcing Lucy and Eko to continue on with limited help. They press on through dangerous wildlife and environmental hazards. The trials include a perilous journey through the jungle as they chase Hiroshi.

Lucy and Eko fend off a group of Komodo dragons and endure a perilous ride down rushing rapids, surviving a fall that tests their endurance. The danger heightens as the jungle becomes a battleground and their resolve is pushed to the limit. They press on toward Hiroshi and the smugglers.

The women are captured and brought to the smugglers' camp. Leopard Woman tortures Lucy to coerce Hiroshi into revealing the location of his treasure, threatening Eko's release if he doesn't comply. Hiroshi finally divulges the treasure's coordinates under duress.

As the smuggling operation escalates, Eko is chased by a member of Leopard Woman's gang, but Lung Fei arrives just in time to rescue her. The rescue reinforces their fragile alliance and sharpens their resolve. The trio regroups to counter the smugglers' next move.

Hiroshi and Lucy are released and attempt a desperate escape to a helicopter, but Lucy is wounded by a gunshot to the shoulder as they flee. They reach the chopper and lift off, hoping to outrun the smugglers. The escape marks a turning point in the mission.

Eko battles Leopard Woman and stabs her, but Leopard Woman pulls Eko from the chopper as it lifts off. Lung Fei saves Eko, kills Leopard Woman, and uses a whip to snag Lucy from the chopper’s skid as they swing away. The trio escapes into the sky on a precarious tether, with Lucy carried to safety.

The film ends with behind-the-scenes footage of the lead actresses performing their own stunts as the credits roll. The stuntwork mirrors the peril seen on screen and adds a meta note to the adventure. Viewers are left with a sense of thrill and authenticity.
