The film brings the Cleaver clan back together after patriarch Ward’s death. Lawyer Wally, married to Mary Ellen, still longs for a child, while the Beaver is driven out by his wife and returns to Mayfield to care for his sons. His wife leaves to study veterinary medicine abroad, leaving the kids with him. The boys grow closer to Wally, clash with a now‑crooked Eddie Haskell, and lean on June for support as the family navigates the changes.
