Twenty‑five years after Holger Meins’s death, filmmaker and former classmate Gerd Conradt revisits the life of the Baader‑Meinhof group’s helmsman. The documentary probes who Meins was, the factors that drew him into the underground, the circumstances of his fatal hunger strike that made him a symbol of radical opposition in Germany, and what remains of his legacy.
