Roy stages a ride with the Vacaros to lure three businessmen to the Stevens mine, presenting them as honored guests. Greedy gangster Harmon sees a profit opportunity, joins the outing, and has his men abduct the trio. After previously filming a fake holdup, Harmon shows the footage to the sheriff, accusing Roy and his companions of the kidnapping.
