Das and the crew abduct a boy and demand a ransom from his father, Nambikkai Kannan. The kidnapping seems to validate Das's method and draws attention from powerful circles. This sets up the political and criminal entanglements that follow.

Nambikkai’s contractor brother is arrested on bribery charges tied to Minister Gnanodayam. The development raises the stakes as political corruption enters the equation. Das’s crew senses a bigger opportunity as the plan grows more ambitious.
