The movie begins in 2024, revealing that COVID-23 has mutated into a more deadly virus that affects the brain and can kill within 48 hours. Quarantine zones and yellow bracelets are introduced as measures for the immune and infected populations, respectively. Public opinion criticizes the q-zones as oppressive and akin to concentration camps.

Nico Price, a courier immune to COVID-23, working for Lester’s Gets, delivers a package to a wealthy, heavily guarded residence. The package undergoes decontamination, and Lester, Nico’s boss, tracks him via GPS, trusting him to do his job well. Nico communicates regularly with his girlfriend Sara while on deliveries.

The wealthy Griffin family lives with their immunocompromised daughter, Emma, who worries about her health and the threat of being sent to a q-zone. Piper Griffin is involved in selling black-market passes to evade quarantine restrictions. The family’s situation highlights the social disparities in the pandemic.

May, a singer, performs livestream shows and develops a friendship with Michael, a handicapped army vet who works on drones. William, Emma’s father, has an affair with May, disregarding safety rules. This establishes the personal lives intersecting within the pandemic context.

Nico fails to deliver a package on time but is tracked down by a drone and decontaminated after being spotted with Sara. He later attempts to arrange a movie night with Sara via video chat, showing their close connection amidst the chaos. Meanwhile, Lita begins coughing severely.

Quarantine officers, led by Harland, arrive at Sara’s home to detain Alice, who was infected and detected quickly. Sara denies contact with Alice to protect herself, and Lita’s health deteriorates as the quarantine tensions escalate.

Sara’s temperature checks reveal a fever, alerting quarantine guards, which puts her and Lita at risk of being taken to a q-zone. Nico learns about the situation and begins searching for immunity bracelets to help Sara escape, leading to his confrontation with the Griffin family.

Nico arrives at a warehouse to retrieve immunity bracelets but is caught by Harland. He manages to escape after realizing it’s a trap, with help from a fellow resistance fighter. The event marks his determination to save Sara from quarantine.

William contacts May, demanding to see her, but she refuses, threatening to reveal their secret relationship involving an immunity bracelet. Piper overhears and threatens William with a gun, fearing the risks to her family.

Harland and his team seize Lita, but Sara manages to evade capture using a hazmat suit, leading to a confrontation with Harland, who realizes Sara is immune. Nico arrives and fights Harland, stabbing him to escape with Sara's help.

May plans to escape with Michael using a drone after William breaks into her car and tries to force her to go with him. Michael intervenes by using a weaponized drone to shoot William, saving May from harm.

Nico obtains a bracelet from Piper at gunpoint and returns to Sara’s apartment, where Harland awaits to kill him. Nico manages to kill Harland in self-defense and calls Lester for backup, leading to Sara’s rescue.

With Lester’s help, Nico’s drone locates Sara at Q-zone Alpha just in time. He slips her a bracelet, allowing her to scan and escape. The two finally touch and share a kiss, ending their ordeal on a hopeful note.

The film concludes with Piper revealing the true origin of the bracelets and blaming William and Harland. May and Michael start a virtual relationship, and Nico and Sara are seen riding a motorcycle together, symbolizing their new freedom.
