Paul and Suzanne Giraud enjoy a peaceful life in a quiet suburb until Suzanne becomes uneasy about their new neighbors—a troupe of expressive dancers dressed provocatively. She urges Paul to confront them over their perceived immorality, only for him to discover that the lead dancer, Georgette Lalle, is a former lover, reopening old emotions and complicating their marriage.
