Sky High

Will Stronghold introduces viewers to a world filled with superheroes. He shares that his parents, Commander and Jetstream, are among the most celebrated heroes, while also managing a successful real estate chain.

Will's friend Layla visits him as they prepare to head to school. Layla declines breakfast, highlighting her vegan lifestyle that ties back to her unique connection with animals.

In an attempt to impress his father, Will pretends to exercise to showcase his non-existent super-strength. His father encourages him, expressing hope that Will might become a hero one day.

Will's parents receive an emergency call and must rush to their Secret Sanctum to handle a crisis. They quickly say goodbye before dashing off to save the day from a colossal robot wreaking havoc downtown.

Will and Layla board the bus to Sky High, where they meet Ron Wilson, the bus driver. After initially mocking Will, he realizes who his parents are and expertly maneuvers the bus, revealing the hovering school.

Upon their arrival, freshmen face off against bullies Lash and Speed. Gwen Grayson, the student body president, intervenes to defend them, and Will finds himself smitten by her charm.

The power placement process in the gym commences under Coach Boomer's guidance. Students demonstrate their abilities, revealing that Zach's powers place him in the Sidekick class.

During lunch, Will encounters Warren Peace, stirring tension due to his lineage as the child of a superhero and a supervillain. This encounter sets the stage for future conflict.

In gym class, Will faces a car drop test but ultimately breaks down and admits he has no powers. This leads to his classification as a Sidekick, deepening his feelings of inadequacy.

Upon returning home, Will's father encourages him to hang onto the dream of becoming a hero. Meanwhile, a strange glow from a robot eye hints that sinister forces are monitoring their situation.

During a confrontation with Warren at lunch, Will inadvertently displays super-strength for the first time. This unexpected change alters the dynamics at Sky High and boosts his confidence.

Amidst the unfolding events, Will attends the Homecoming dance where he uncovers Gwen’s true identity as the villainous Royal Pain. This revelation shakes Will's understanding of his relationships.
