Ten-year-old Bloem is a devoted admirer of Sinterklaas’ horse. After persistent requests, she is finally allowed to ride the magnificent animal, but a mishap soon occurs. During a ride, the horse, Amerigo, loses his magical golden horseshoe, essential for climbing rooftops. Concerned about upsetting his helpers, Sinterklaas and Bloem embark on a quest to find the missing horseshoe before the annual gift-giving evening is jeopardized.
