Ring Hassard and his father Jeff, wild horse‑breakers living in a hidden mountain eyrie, are pursued after Jeff is falsely accused of murder. They take in Riley Martin, a lost lawyer, who discovers Ring has never been close to a woman. When Jeff is wounded, Ring clashes with horse thieves and the law, while Riley fights to clear the Hassards’ names.
