J.T. Gimlet’s department store is closed, so a troupe of mice, led by the W.C. Fields mouse from Little Blabbermouse, tours the aisles. In shoes, red and green mules pop out and bray. The art wing shows Whistler’s Mother whistling, The Thinker fretting over taxes, and a painting that shifts from two Indians to The Last of the Mohicans. Housewares include an automatic ashtray and a self‑dealing poker table with a hidden ace. The gift‑wrap section features ribbon‑measuring and wrapping robots, leaving Blabbermouse tangled and stamped with a “Do Not Open Until Xmas” sticker.
