Sheep and Wolves

Ziko the sheep, busy documenting outdoor wildlife, spots Grey the wolf. Startled, Grey bolts toward the sheep village, screaming as he escapes. This encounter foreshadows the clash between the wolf pack and the herd near the ravine.

The wise leader Magra declares he will retire soon and that a rite of succession must be won by two candidates. Ragear and Grey stand as rival contenders, setting the stage for a brutal challenge. The camp buzzes with tension as rival loyalties form.

During the pre-fight games, Grey taunts and humiliates Ragear after Ragear disobeys Magra's orders. The dig at Ragear's temperament deepens the rivalry and reveals Grey's arrogant bravado. The feud threatens the pack's sense of order.

Grey encounters Shia, a lamb who wandered into the meadow against Lyra's warnings. Rather than harm him, Grey chooses mercy and lets Shia go unharmed. This small mercy plants seeds of Grey's evolving conscience.

At a wolf-pack celebration, Grey's immature swagger leads to Bianca ending their relationship. She cites his lack of responsibility and respect for life as reasons to part ways. The moment marks a turning point for Grey's social standing among both wolves and the herd.

Grey visits a gypsy camp celebration and meets the eccentric hare Mami. She offers a transmutation potion he believes will win Bianca back. The potion instead turns Grey into a ram, leaving him stranded and confused.

After the transformation, Grey is knocked out and wakes up in the sheep village under Lyra's care. He struggles to accept his new form and the sudden shift in his identity. The world he knew now seems suddenly divided between wolves and sheep.

Grey recalls that Mami gave him the potion, then finds the gypsy camp deserted. He returns to the sheep village, where the wolf pack believes he ran away rather than transformed. The others start to treat him with suspicion and curiosity.

The next morning, Grey joins Shia and Moz at the village tournament. He fights the champion Louis the Fierce and uses biting, which angers many. Nevertheless, he protects Lyra and Shia from two wolves and earns the herd's friendship for showing courage.

During a welcome party, Ragear captures Shia after she witnesses Magra's murder. Grey and Moz rescue Shia, but Ragear learns that Grey has become a ram. Ragear wastes no time consolidating power over the pack.

Bianca and Mami arrive with a plan to restore balance, but nothing happens when the supposedly magical potion is given. Grey learns that Ragear has seized Magra's throne and vows to defend the village. He is warned that he may transform back to a wolf if he can reach a certain tree by noon.

Grey confronts Ragear in a climactic fight. Though he is buried under rocks, he emerges as a wolf and defeats Ragear by sending him over a waterfall. After peace is won, Grey proposes to Bianca and they marry in the sheep village; Mami explains the potion was only spring water, and Grey's change came from maturity and responsibility.
