Shark Zone

A group of divers, led by Jimmy Wagner and his father, searches for gold from a sunken ship. A brutal encounter with a school of great white sharks leaves the elder diver dead and Jimmy as the lone survivor. The tragedy plants the seed of Jimmy's lifelong fear of sharks.

Ten years after the tragedy, Jimmy is married to Carrie and has a son, Danny. He remains haunted by his father's death and clings to a growing fear of sharks, which colors his daily life.

A man named Volkoff offers Jimmy a chance to search for gold in the same sunken ship. Jimmy declines the offer, wary of re-entering danger and the lure of treasure.

Mayor Cortell asks Jimmy to patrol the beaches in advance of an upcoming beach party to keep the crowd safe from shark threats. Jimmy agrees to help, signaling the start of a new obligation.

A shark attack erupts on the beach, taking several lives and casting a pall over the community. The threat abruptly becomes personal for Jimmy and those around him.

Jimmy leads a group of divers to hunt the sharks, hoping to end the menace once and for all. The predators strike back, slaughtering everyone except Jimmy, while a party nearby witnesses two young adults being eaten. Jimmy then rejects Volkoff's entreaties once more.

After another shark attack claims three teenagers, Jimmy's partner tags one of the sharks with a tracking device. The team races to locate the predatory group using the device.

Using the tracking device, they locate the sharks and blow several of them up with bombs from a helicopter. Jimmy remains uncertain if all threats are eliminated, while Volkoff presses for a private meeting.

Volkoff secretly pressures Jimmy for a final discussion and, when refused, Volkoff's henchmen kidnap Danny and take him aboard a boat. Jimmy is forced to help locate Volkoff's ship.

Jimmy assists three Volkoff henchmen in locating the sunken ship, but they are quickly killed by sharks. He and a loyal ally press on, leading to a tense stabbing sequence as they reach the vessel to confront Volkoff.

An electric cable is damaged during the fight, causing a fire that traps Danny. Jimmy is shot but keeps fighting and eventually gains the upper hand, knocking Volkoff overboard as sharks close in.

Jimmy rescues Danny and they escape in a motorboat, racing toward the mainland as the ship explodes behind them. The harrowing escape renews their resolve and sense of family.

Jimmy and Danny reach the shore to reunite with Carrie, their nerves still alive with relief after their terrifying ordeal. They embrace as a new chapter begins for their family.
