Hitman: Agent Jun

A young Jun is approached by a recruiter to join the National Intelligence Service, and he accepts, training to become an Elite Assassin. His combat skills and stealth earn him a feared reputation within the agency. Yet his passion for drawing webtoons quietly fuels his personal ambitions.

While carrying out dangerous missions, Jun still sketches in his spare moments, keeping his dream of becoming a famous webtoon artist alive. His dual life shows him balancing high-stakes work with artistic practice. The webtoon hobby gradually becomes a core outlet for his identity.

Realizing that a safe, ordinary life might be impossible, Jun fakes his death by jumping from a helicopter during a storm and disappears. He disguises himself to pursue a new life as a webtoon creator. This personal sacrifice marks the beginning of his secrecy and reinvention.

In the present, Jun works at a construction site while also producing webtoons, but negative comments sting him because fans say his comics are not entertaining. Frustration and self-doubt push him toward drinking and impulsive creative bursts. He tries to push through the pressure by focusing on his next episode.

In a drunken burst, Jun publishes a new webtoon about a secret agent, and it becomes an enormous hit. The sudden success brings joy to his family, who finally experiences a sense of relief from obscurity.

The popular episode is revealed to be based on Jun's real life as a secret agent, and the NIS realizes Jun is alive. The webtoon seems to be a veiled confession that points back to their own top-secret operation.

The NIS tracks down Jun and interrogates him to uncover how his fiction mirrors real events. Jun remains composed, but the discovery that he is alive unsettles him.

Amid the interrogation, a call from Jason interrupts the room; Jason, Jun's nemesis in the second episode, has his wife hostage and demands Chief Cheon. The threat intensifies the pressure on Jun.

The NIS captures Jun's daughter, and Jun's former colleague Cheol escapes with her, rushing toward Jun's location to reunite with him. The rescue attempt forces Jun to confront his past once again.
