Scooby-Doo! and the Gourmet Ghost

The gang travels to the Rocky Harbor Inn to visit Fred's uncle Bobby Flay, who is revealed to be a world-famous chef. They tour the lobby and notice a portrait of Fred's ancestor Edward Flay. Nacho, Bobby’s cat, helps Scooby out of a bind and adds humor to the welcome.

Bobby leads them to the inn's high-tech cooking arena and shows off futuristic gadgets. They meet celebrity chefs Giada De Laurentiis and Marcus Samuelsson (and their spouses), adding glamour to the visit. The scene blends culinary spectacle with hints of a looming mystery.

Groundskeeper Jeremiah Noseworthy arrives and quickly leaves mentioning a red ghost. Bobby explains that Edward Flay disappeared in 1780 and that the inn has been vacant because of the ghost. The Red Ghost becomes the ominous backdrop for the inn's history.

The next day on television, Gail announces the big show at the inn and interviews Jeremiah, who blurts out that Edward was a traitor. This claim complicates the group's sense of the inn's history. The team begins to question what is true about Edward's loyalties.

A businessman named Bradley Bass arrives and tells Bobby he is sitting on a gold mine, pressuring him to sell. Bobby refuses to sell and defends the inn's legacy. The tension between business interests and legend adds human stakes to the mystery.

Henry Metcalf, author of a famous book about the inn, arrives with a folder of papers. He explains that during the Revolutionary War Edward welcomed soldiers and wrapped dishes for take-out with those papers. The scene hints at a hidden history tied to the inn.

That night, the show kicks off but the animatronics go haywire. The Red Ghost drives spectators away and chases the gang, until Velma uses a fire extinguisher to calm the situation and the ghost disappears. The incident reveals the danger behind the legend.

A package arrives ordering the immediate closure of the inn as a historic landmark. The ghost suddenly flies past them and the gang pursues to trap him by recreating the previous show. The tension peaks as legal and spectral pressure combine.

The gang traps the Red Ghost and unmasked him as Bradley Bass, who was using a drone controlled by a smartphone. Nacho explains that Bradley Bass is actually Henry Metcalf in disguise, guarding the legend and the incriminating papers. Velma reveals Edward was not a British agent but a spy for George Washington's Continental Army.

Jeremiah explains he is moving away, deciding to pursue the museum exhibit but ultimately choosing a fresh start. The gang says goodbye to Bobby and leaves the inn behind. As they depart, Velma clarifies that Edward's phrase was actually redcoats, not a ghost, and a shrill voice is heard—the sound reveals Skip Taylor trying to sleep.
