Savage Streets

Brenda and the Satins stroll along Hollywood Boulevard with Heather in tow. A reckless gang known as the Scars nearly runs them down in Jake's convertible, prompting the girls to steal the car and dump it full of garbage on the street. The incident establishes Brenda's protective attitude toward Heather and the volatile dynamic with the Scars.

Jake stalks the Satins at their high school and wins Heather's naive trust. In a brutal betrayal, his cohort beats and gang-rapes Heather, leaving her unconscious in the locker room. She is rushed to hospital and falls into a coma.

That same night Brenda and the Satins go to a local disco. The Scars confront them, leading to a fight after Fargo harasses Francine, who is pregnant. The violence marks a turning point for the group.

Francine is stalked after a dress fitting for her wedding. The Scars chase her through an industrial district, and Jake murders her by throwing her off a viaduct over the Los Angeles River. The murder galvanizes Vince to sever ties with the Scars.

Vince expresses remorse over the group's actions and ultimately cuts ties with the Scars. The fracture within the gang deepens as guilt drives him away from the others.

Brenda visits Heather in the hospital and encounters Vince apologizing for the comatose girl. The moment underscores rifts within the group and hints at Brenda's future vendetta.

That night Brenda confronts Vince at his house at knifepoint. He admits that the Scars murdered Francine, confirming the truth behind their other crimes.

Seeking vengeance, Brenda visits a weapons store where she purchases a crossbow and several bear traps. She steels herself for the brutal task ahead.

Brenda tracks the Scars to an abandoned textiles warehouse. She taunts Fargo and Red and kills Fargo with a crossbow through the neck, then dispatches Red by snapping a bear trap over his throat.

Meanwhile, Jake kills Vince in a nearby alley by ramming him with his car. The Scars suffer a fatal blow as Brenda's vendetta continues to escalate.

Jake returns to the warehouse to locate Fargo and Red's corpses and confront Brenda. He tries to shoot her, but Brenda incapacitates him with the crossbow and traps him by tying a rope around his ankles to hang him upside down.

Brenda tortures Jake with a hunting knife, but he breaks free and chases her into a paint store. As the burglar alarm blares, Brenda douses Jake with paint and sets him on fire. Police arrive as the burning Jake staggers out and dies.

Some time later, Brenda, Heather, and the surviving Satins visit Francine's grave. Brenda laments, 'At least we made things right,' to which Stevie responds, 'No, Brenda, you made things right.'
