Business tycoon Deven Gandhi approaches Sarkar with a real estate project over a vast Dharavi slum. Sarkar counsels offering fair compensation and relocation, but Gandhi deems it too costly. He enlists his Dubai-based boss Vallya and ally Govind Deshpande to plot Sarkar's ouster, while Sarkar refuses to yield.

Sarkar's wife pleads with him to permit their grandson Shivaji Nagre, Chiku, to join his circle. The boy is hot-headed and volatile, but Sarkar ultimately relents and brings him near. The family decision marks a new dynamic in Sarkar's camp.

Chiku immediately clashes with Gokul and Raman Guru over how to handle Deshpande. The tension highlights Chiku's impulsiveness and the fissures within Sarkar's inner circle. It is hinted that Annu is using Chiku to reach Sarkar, given Sarkar's past actions against her father.

Hindsight reveals that Annu's rift was resolved and that Gokul had turned to Gandhi to manipulate events and sideline Chiku. Gandhi and Gokul's schemes aimed to draw out Vallya, ensuring Sarkar's dominance through misdirection. The conspiratorial chessboard becomes clearer.

Chiku walks in and kills Raman Guru, then another gunshot marks the death of Vallya. Sarkar and Chiku share a quiet moment, sipping tea as Sarkar begins teaching the inexperienced successor the intricacies of palace politics. A grim peace settles over the patriarch's realm.
