After stashing his loot and being jailed, the brooding outlaw Ruby befriends Quentin, an oversized, talkative but dim‑witted giant. When Quentin bungles a solo escape, the two break out together. Unable to rid himself of the clumsy companion, Ruby drags Quentin along on a quest to confront his former partners, avenge the woman he loved, and claim the hidden money.
