Drew Boley witnesses Sherrie's distress after her suitcase is stolen. Taking it upon himself to help, he comforts her and offers her a job as a waitress at The Bourbon Room, igniting a connection between them.

Dennis Dupree and Lonny Barnett, the club's owners, struggle with unpaid taxes that threaten to shut down the Bourbon Room. Despite the financial troubles, they long to keep the spirit of rock 'n' roll alive in their beloved venue.
