As the officers prepare for the operation, their commander, Lt. Jim Dangle, makes a flamboyant entrance on a motorcycle. In a hilarious turn of events, he crashes spectacularly into a police car, setting the comedic tone for the upcoming adventure.

The excitement escalates when Deputy Travis Junior suddenly wakes up from a dream where he and Dangle tumble through a construction site and land in a port-a-john. This surreal moment leads him to question the absurdity of their situations.

The narrative shifts to amusing vignettes where each officer shares their quirky motivations for joining law enforcement. They receive an invitation to the American Police Convention in Miami Beach, leading to their anticipation for a wild trip.

After an exhausting 35-hour bus ride to Miami Beach, the officers are dismayed to find their names missing from the guest list. With no hotel keys or entry passes, they are forced to check into a rundown motel that is evidently a hub for chaotic activities.

As night falls, the officers don revealing outfits and attempt to charm each other over drinks. Their efforts backfire, leading to awkward situations that culminate in a series of cringeworthy self-pleasuring incidents that divert Jones.

The next morning, still reeling from their adventures, the group heads to the convention center only to discover it is sealed off due to a bio-chemical terrorist incident. HazMAT teams and National Security personnel are present, signaling a dire situation.

In a twist, the head of National Security informs the Reno officers they are the last remaining law enforcement personnel to restore order in Miami Beach. This unexpected responsibility places them at the forefront of a chaotic and dangerous situation.

As chaos continues to escalate, a high-ranking SWAT member, humorously portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, accidentally blows himself up during what was supposed to be a routine grenade demonstration. This outrageous event underscores the comedic tone of the film.

Upon arrival at the local Sheriff's Department, the Reno team is amazed by the shiny new 2006 Mustangs used by Miami deputies. Their initial excitement quickly turns to confusion as they face bizarre emergencies, including an alligator in a pool.
