Haunted by the death of his first love, U.S. Marshal Mike Donovan maintains peace between American settlers and the Native tribe that once sheltered him. When a white sorcerer’s cruelty threatens the Sacred Mountains, Donovan confronts the villain, undergoes shamanic rites, conquers his fears, and uncovers a buried memory he’s desperate to deny.
