Red: The Dark Side

Neil Oberoi, a lonely billionaire with a serious heart condition, needs a transplant. He discovers that his donor is Anuj Saxena, who left behind his widow, Anahita Saxena. This introduces Anahita into Neil's life and sets the stage for their complicated connection.

Anahita explains that her husband Anuj had an affair with her friend Ria. When he wanted to return to Anahita, Ria threatened to kill both of them. She also claims Ria is responsible for Anuj's death and that Ria is vulnerable because Rocky harasses her.

Ria enters the house, and Anahita attempts to kill her. Neil intervenes, stopping Anahita and averting a murder. In the moment, Neil and Anahita share a charged kiss, leaving both conflicted about their actions.

The two meet again and acknowledge their mutual lust. Despite tension and a prior collision, they reconcile and end up having sex for hours.

One night after their affair, Neil murders Rocky to protect his lover. The killing entangles them further in a dangerous web and deepens their bond amid peril.

Neil commits a rape, but the act soon turns into a consensual encounter as their attraction intensifies. This episode complicates their relationship and how others perceive them.

ACP Abhay Rastogi finds a watch belonging to Neil, triggering suspicion and accelerating the police investigation into the couple's activities. The case tightens around them as evidence surfaces.

Neil and Anahita do their best to stay ahead of the authorities, devising plans to evade detection. They struggle to protect their secrets as investigative pressure mounts.

Neil makes a move to eliminate Ria, while it is revealed that Anahita was the real killer of her husband, having plotted to kill him with Rocky to keep him from leaving for Ria. The murder appears to be an accident, complicating everyone’s fate.

Confronted with the truth, Anahita runs away after a tense exchange with Neil. She believes he has poisoned her drink, and while driving, she meets a fatal road accident and dies.

Neil explains everything to the police and is ultimately free of charges. He also reveals that he never poisoned Anahita's drink, and that it was Anahita's fear that killed her.

In a final twist, Neil tells Ria that he had never poisoned Anahita's drink; it was her fear that killed Anahita. Ria processes the revelation as the true sequence of events surrounding Anuj's death and the couple's involvement.
