Rajaratha

Abhi, a poetry-loving student, first notices Megha during his college admission and is instantly drawn to her. He is smitten but afraid to reveal his feelings. This initial spark sets the course for their complicated romance.

During the fourth semester, Abhi discovers Megha is in love with another student named Suraj. His hope of confessing fades as he watches her interest shift to someone else. The unspoken love becomes the emotional engine of the story.

Parallel to their romance, Vishwa is a rising member of Praja Rakshana Dal. The party's leaders are accused of scams, and they stage a protest by claiming Periyapelli belongs to Tamil Nadu. A Tamilian slaps Apanna, and Vishwa steps forward to take leadership.

The Rajaratha bus gets stuck in the middle of a forest, forcing Megha and Abhi to step out and record a song. They quickly realize they are lost as the path disappears around them. The forest setting isolates the group and heightens tension.

It is revealed to the audience that Vishwa and Abhi are siblings; Vishwa deeply cares for his brother, even though he rarely shows it. The revelation adds a personal dimension to the unfolding conflict.

Abhi spots Megha in a jeep with two men who he thinks are kidnappers. After a tense confrontation, Megha explains they are her uncle's assistants. He agrees to drop them back to the bus and they spend a day at a resort.

Vishwa calls Abhi to get down in Bangalore, claiming his father is unwell. Believing the lie, Abhi agrees, but his mother later exposes the truth, prompting him to return to the bus.

The bus approaches Periapelli; Abhi plans to propose to Megha with a plastic ring. Rioters burn the vehicles including the bus, and the revelation that Vishwa is involved intensifies the conflict.

Abhi confronts Vishwa about his violence and betrayal. He fights to protect the passengers and saves Megha when a mob targets her.

Megha helps rescue a baby boy stuck inside the bus; together with Abhi, they hand the baby over to Vishwa. The bus then explodes, leaving the survivors to mourn what they lost.

The film uses the aftermath to condemn violence, showing media exposing the politicians behind the Periapalli massacre. Candle marches spread across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu as people demand accountability.

Five years later, Vishwa lights a lamp before a photo of his friend; Megha and Abhi live together, bearing burn marks as a sign of their ordeal. They run an orphanage named Rajaratha, using the bus's board as the sign.
