During the voyage toward Vedhalapuram, Marudheeran rescues Princess Manthagini from a panther. He earns her gratitude and she begins to fall in love with him.

Jalatharangan notices the connection between Marudheeran and Manthagini. Entering Vedhalapuram under the guise of medicine makers, the trio meets Queen Yavanarani, a sorceress who wields great power. Yavanarani allows them to stay at the palace, and Marudheeran earns her favor and Manthagini's affection through his fighting prowess.

Yavanarani formally announces the engagement between Marudheeran and Manthagini, aligning political power with personal alliance. The declaration solidifies Marudheeran's place within Vedhalapuram's inner circle and sparks further intrigue.

Marudheeran uncovers that he is half Vedhalam, the son of Pulivendhan and Pushpa. Jalatharangan had murdered Pulivendhan and Pushpa, revealing a personal vendetta behind the conflict.

Marudheeran discovers Yavanarani is a puppet queen under the influence of Jalatharangan's ring, which fuels her magical powers and tyrannical rule. She conducts the yearly Kanya Puja to bolster her strength.

As Yavanarani performs the 18th consecutive Kanya Puja (this time affecting Pavalamalli), Jalatharangan schemes to eliminate her and seize the throne. The plot deepens the political stakes surrounding Vedhalapuram's future.

Marudheeran learns that stopping the demon-suppressing medicinal leaf he has taken since childhood would trigger his transformation into a Vedhalam. This fear shapes his decisions as the conflict escalates.

Marudheeran transforms into a demon, confronts Jalatharangan, and defeats him, avenging his father's death. In the moment of victory, he opens his ring and releases the remaining evil power, preventing it from corrupting Vedhalapuram after his death.

Marudheeran and Manthagini confront Yavanarani as she performs Kanya Puja on Pavalamalli. After a bitter sword fight, Marudheeran destroys the wand powering her magic, breaking the evil hold and restoring the Queen.

In gratitude for freeing her from the evil influence, Yavanarani proclaims Marudheeran the heir to Vedhalapuram's throne. The royal succession marks a new chapter for the realm.

With the threat quelled and Marudheeran as heir, Vedhalapuram begins a new era of stability and peace. The people acknowledge the hero who protected them and redefined the royal lineage.
