The story opens in the Sola Mira Hive, where Priest, Priestess, and Black Hat are on a mission to hunt down dangerous vampires. This dire journey quickly takes a turn when they fall into a trap set by the very creatures they hunt.

A visually stunning animated sequence illustrates the ongoing battle between humans and vampires. This segment portrays the devastation wrought by both sides, emphasizing the destruction that leads humanity to seek refuge behind the walls of the church.

After defeating the vampires, the priests are sent back to live among the people, no longer needed as their services become outdated. This sets the stage for the struggles they will later face when the vampire threat resurfaces.

In the wasteland, Owen Pace works hard with his wife Shannon and daughter Lucy to cultivate a farm. Everything changes violently when a gang of vampires attacks, leading to Shannon's tragic death and leaving Owen injured and Lucy in a state of panic.

In the bustling Cathedral City, Priest hears alarming news about the attack on Owen's farm during a confession. As he seeks help from the church, he encounters skepticism from Monsignor Orelas, who downplays the vampire threat.

After realizing that Lucy has been captured by Black Hat, Priest equips himself for battle and rides to Owen’s farm. He reunites with Hicks, who insists on rescuing Lucy and eradicating the vampire menace.

Defying orders from Monsignor Orelas, Priest and Hicks set off on a desperate hunt for the vampires. They find a deserted vampire reservation, where they uncover a gruesome scene of carnage left by the vampires.

As night descends, Priest and Hicks are suddenly attacked by familiars. In the midst of the chaos, they glean crucial information that Lucy has been taken west to the Sola Mira Hive, intensifying their urgency.

Priest arrives at the Sola Mira Hive, confronting painful memories from his past. He reunites with the Priestess, and together they take on a powerful hive guardian before discovering Black Hat's army is attacking the town of Jericho.

Upon reaching Jericho, they find the town horrifyingly abandoned, with church priests gruesomely crucified. Realizing the vampires are coming towards the city, they formulate a plan to intercept Black Hat's train and rescue Lucy.

As they rush towards the train, Hicks discovers a shocking truth: Lucy is actually Priest's daughter. This revelation fuels their determination to save her from the clutches of the vampires.

During the climactic confrontation aboard the train, Priestess's explosives are sabotaged by a familiar, forcing Hicks to fight through hordes of vampires. Meanwhile, Black Hat reveals his formidable powers after being transformed by the Queen's blood, escalating the conflict.

With victory seemingly impossible, Priestess courageously re-arms the explosives and rushes towards the train. In a desperate attempt to save Lucy, Priest uses the special cross against Black Hat, leading to an explosive showdown.

In the aftermath of the battle, Hicks discovers Priest safely holding Lucy, who learns about their family connection. The trio emerges from the wreckage, ready to face the future after their harrowing ordeal.

Upon returning to the church, Priest defiantly throws a vampire head at Monsignor Orelas's feet, declaring that the fight against the vampires is far from over. He and the Priestess are resolved to continue their relentless hunt against the encroaching darkness.
