Jackie slips into Phantom's crew and then moves to join the Marina Group, planning to deliver the egg to Samiya. Her theft puts the egg onto a path that entwines Phantom, the Marina Group, and the surface world. The plan seeds a high-stakes chase across sea lanes and hidden loyalties.

Ash, Pikachu, Brock, May, and Max find themselves lost at sea and cross paths with the Marina Group. They become involved in Walker's mission and the mystery surrounding the egg's origin. The encounter drags them deeper into a web of destiny, loyalty, and ancient sea secrets.

Pikachu forms a quick, hopeful bond with May, lifting her spirits amid the chase. Team Rocket's tip about the egg's location accelerates Phantom's pursuit. The pursuit tightens as different agendas converge around the egg's fate.

Phantom closes in, and the egg hatches in May's arms. Manaphy binds to May in a newborn, motherly bond that instantly shifts the group's dynamic. May becomes protective of the infant and feels its needs guiding their voyage.

In a selfless bid to save Samiya, Manaphy returns to the Crown chamber with Ash, Pikachu, and May. Brock and Max depart in the submarine, while Lizabeth and the others head toward safety. The crew places the final jewel, restoring the Crown and helping Samiya rise toward the surface.
