Kunal Malkholkar is a pizza delivery boy who lives with his wife Nikki Dipannita Sharma. She is an aspiring novelist and is researching for a horror story, while Kunal remains a firm skeptic when it comes to anything supernatural. Nikki keeps insisting that he’ll soon sense the presence of otherworldly forces around them, a claim that initially unsettles him but never fully convinces him. As Nikki becomes pregnant, the tension in their small world grows, shifting from disbelief to a wary curiosity about the unknown.
One night, a routine pizza delivery spirals into a nightmare. Kunal returns to the pizzeria bloodied and visibly traumatized, muttering Nikki’s name and insisting that something unseen followed him. He recounts a chilling ordeal at a bungalow where a customer named Smitha lives. Smitha asks him to wait downstairs while she retrieves change, and the moment the lights go out, the atmosphere tightens with fear. Alone in the dark, Kunal hears a disturbing noise from upstairs, and when he ventures up, he discovers Smitha murdered and notices one missing slice of pizza—an ominous clue that someone else may still be in the house. The door to the outside is locked from the inside, trapping him. When Smitha’s husband arrives, he first suspects foul play in an affair, but Kunal’s sustained descriptions of the supernatural threat begin to blur the lines between reality and horror. A figure called Mr. Ghost appears, lures him through the house, and soon disappears, only to be found murdered in the same room as his wife, with another missing pizza slice.
In a bewildering twist, Kunal crosses paths with a child named Anjali—identical in appearance to the spirit said to inhabit Mr. Kapoor’s wife—further spiraling his sense of safety. Desperate to escape, he tries every avenue: smashing sealed doors, using a working phone despite a dead line, and seeking help from a local police force that seems as unreliable as the supernatural forces he encounters. When Nikki finally appears outside the bungalow, the horror seems to intensify, and Kunal’s attempts at rescue are thwarted by the spectral inhabitants who close in from every corner.
As the investigation unfolds, the police reveal a brutal truth: four people have been killed in that house—the murdered Smitha, Mr. Ghost, their young daughter, and a girl named Nikki—raising the unsettling possibility that Nikki is connected to the killings in a way that unsettles Kunal to his core. The officers hint that Kunal himself may be a suspect, turning his fear into a fight for innocence as he struggles to prove his own truth. Back at the restaurant, Kunal’s friends and Mr. Kapoor return to the bungalow and glimpse Nikki seemingly possessed by Anjali, deepening the mystery of who is really in control.
The story behind the bungalow’s carnage is finally laid bare: years earlier, a married couple, their daughter, and two police officers had all died within these walls. The current hauntings are tied to the same lingering grief and vengeance that pervade the place, and Kunal’s life becomes a precarious balance between the seen and the unseen as he grapples with the possibility that his own love for Nikki might be exploited by forces beyond comprehension.
In a pivotal revelation during another pizza delivery, the couple’s plan to change their fortunes comes into view. The Income Tax raid targeting Mr. Kapoor’s restaurant uncovers a stash of diamonds worth millions hidden inside a candy box. Nikki and Kunal decide to seize the diamonds to secure a better life for themselves and their soon-to-arrive child. They concoct a clever story in which Kunal “forgets” the pizza bag at the haunted bungalow—an alibi designed to keep Kapoor away from the scene—while Nikki packs to flee abroad with the diamonds in hand.
Yet the final leg of their plan unravels in the same haunted setting they hoped to escape. After a phone call, Kunal returns to deliver one last pizza, only to encounter a house where the boundaries between reality and the supernatural blur once more. Inside, a little girl—identical to the Anjali he described—stares at him as the door slams shut, sealing him inside. The film ends on the chilling image of the door locking with Kunal left inside, his fate and Nikki’s whereabouts left hanging in a haze of fear and unanswered questions, leaving the viewer with the unnerving sense that the cycle of haunting and danger may be far from finished.
