Ten years after his son's disappearance, Hopper's suspicions are aroused by prison inmate Ronald Perkins. He searches Perkins’ house and discovers a collection of torture videos featuring the missing victims. In a fit of rage, Hopper kills Perkins.

A wave of carnage sweeps the town, and reports emerge that Hopper’s own son may be among the marauding killers. The community is gripped by fear as the disappearances and killings intensify.

Flashbacks begin to reveal that Hopper's son was kidnapped from his home years ago. Hopper starts wondering whether he is still alive as the mystery deepens.

Hopper questions Perkins’ motive, wondering how a killer could know about his wife and daughter. His suspicions push him to press the man in custody for answers.

Hopper digs into Perkins’ file and learns that Perkins kidnapped Hopper’s son years ago. He confronts Perkins with the file and declares that he doesn’t have a family. He calls his deputy Hal to the station, but Hal is skeptical.

Hopper searches Perkins’ home and discovers a backroom in the basement full of scientific equipment. Hal notices a cage with someone inside and is attacked by a crazed woman.

Perkins reveals his own family was killed by a burglar, drawing a parallel to Hopper’s loss and attempting to manipulate him. The confession adds a chilling layer to his vendetta.

Daisy and her boyfriend run for safety after two friends are murdered. Hopper arrives just in time to save Daisy and shoots the attacker, who miraculously returns to life and is run over. The police chief declares a state of emergency as panic spreads.

Hopper discovers his son is alive when he witnesses him killing someone in the street. He also learns that his wife Janine is having an affair after their son's disappearance.

Daisy tells Hopper that Janine is at a motel with her boyfriend. He learns that the boyfriend is beaten to death by a woman wielding a champagne bottle.

They reach the motel to find Janine safe, and Hopper leads the killers into a fight. Janine, Daisy, and Eric seek shelter at the police station, while a deputy and others retreat to the basement. Eric is ripped to pieces by the killers; Hopper arrives with a shotgun and kills them.

Felicity, an animal rights activist, calls for help from one of the cells but is killed by a killer hiding in the ceiling. The deputy realizes there is no way out as the siege tightens.

From a video monitor, Hopper and Daisy watch as the killers plan an ambush. Janine is killed, shocking the survivors. Hopper gives Daisy a shotgun to protect herself and tries to reason with his son Kyle, but Kyle snaps Hopper's neck and then kills Daisy with a shotgun.
