Justiina, tired of her friends’ laziness, gives them lessons and forces them to find employment. Pekka and Pätkä are assigned to a woodworking factory where they nail the legs of a Christmas tree, hoping to get rich. A series of mishaps sends them tumbling through a variety of odd jobs, all while a throng of admiring women pursues them.
