Justiina persuades Pekka and Pätkä to take painting lessons, seeing art as a livelihood. With yard children they paint a work that wins first prize at a contemporary exhibition. Meanwhile they and assistant Miss Kaihokielo are falsely accused of art theft. After the misunderstanding they spend prize money converting bomb shelter into a kids’ clubroom.
