Ryuji and Kyotaro win money at the track, but Tetsu, a Hyakkikai member posing as a car dealer, swindles part of their winnings. The betrayal pulls them deeper into the Hyakkikai's world and sets up later conflicts.

Unable to pay his debts to the Hyakkikai, Makimura attempts to take his own life by stepping in front of a car. Ryuji and Kyotaro intervene and raid a Hyakkikai gambling den, stealing money to give Makimura enough to cover his debt.

Kurogane Mitsuko, head of the Kurogane gang, bribes detective Yabe to investigate the robbery. In retaliation, she has the pinky of Gori, boss of the Hyakkikai, cut off.

Gori continues debt collection but cannot repay all of the stolen money to Kurogane. The resulting shortfall heightens tensions between the Hyakkikai factions.

Two Hyakkikai prostitutes drug Ryuji and Kyotaro to seize their remaining money. The duo then enters the Hyakkikai office and beats up Gori, Tetsu, and other members in a display of defiance.

Yukari, Kurogane's daughter, has a child with a Black man named George and wants to stay with him. To remove the obstacle, Takakura is ordered to kill George.

Takakura orders Fukuda to collect a large debt from Yukichi Sugiyama in Ginza. Fukuda hires Ryuji and Kyotaro to do the job, drawing them further into the debt network.

Kyotaro calls his office, and Mary, Makimura's daughter, answers. He sends her roses at work, where she faces unwanted advances from her section chief Sugiyama.

Mr. Yabe links Ryuji and Kyotaro to Makimura and informs Takakura that he suspects them of the robbery. This identification escalates the pursuit and endangers the duo.

Gori captures Kyotaro and beats him for the robbery, but Kyotaro overpowers him and kills Gori and his henchman.

Kyotaro meets a man at a closing diner who invites him to drink at the grave of his brother, murdered by a rival gang. The man is Muto, Kurogane's enforcer, who explains the ongoing feud.

Sugiyama is smuggling drugs during his trips abroad. Mary and Ryuji switch his bag with a different one and deliver the drugs to Fukuda to pay off the debt.

Yabe identifies Kyotaro as 'Kyotaro the Annihilator', the killer of Muto's brother. Takakura kidnaps Sugiyama and Mary to lure Kyotaro in, and Kurogane orders Kyotaro to kill George to wipe the slate clean.

Kyotaro helps George escape with Yukari, defying Kurogane's orders. He then kills Muto and escapes with Ryuji and the two former Hyakkikai prostitutes.
