Eight years before the main events, Tomura vanishes from the pastry world and takes up a quieter life as a lecturer at culinary schools. Natsume, daughter of a Kagoshima bakery owner, travels to Tokyo hoping to build a life with her boyfriend. She searches for the pastry shop she’s heard about, Patisserie Coin de Rue, across the city. She believes that the apron in front of the shop might lead her closer to him.
