Parque Mayer was a popular entertainment park in the 1930s, offering a vibrant escape amidst the political climate of Oliveira Salazar’s dictatorship. The park's theaters hosted "revista," a uniquely Portuguese theatrical genre. The story follows a writer, Mario Pintor, who is working on a new play featuring a rising actress, Deolinda. As she prepares for her leading role, she finds herself the object of attention from Eduardo, a well-known and established actor.
