In a quiet village, Seenu is seen by many as a hopeless slacker, while the town’s venomous president, Lingaraju, holds power with an iron fist. When Seeta, a native who has returned as the village’s schoolteacher, steps back into the scene, the childhood bond between Seenu and Seeta rekindles, and romance flickers into focus. Seenu’s feelings spark a humorous chase, but Seeta’s clarity about what she values in a partner soon shifts the game: a man who is genuinely upright and altruistic, even if he is not a millionaire, and, above all, a man who stands above her in status. Hearing this, Seenu vows to prove himself, not just to win a girl’s heart but to become the man she believes he could be.

Lingaraju grows uneasy as his own industrial partners sense trouble on the horizon. He realizes that his son Rajesh’s feelings for Seeta could complicate matters and tries to use that to his advantage by pairing Seeta with Rajesh, hoping to derail Seenu’s momentum. But Seenu remains resolute and openly challenges Lingaraju, turning the political battle into a direct confrontation. In retaliation, Lingaraju betrays him, warning the villagers not to get involved or face consequences.

The village answer comes in force as Seenu’s supporters refuse to bow out. People rally behind him, even as Seeta bears the weight of public blame for stirring controversy. Seenu refuses to let the credit slip away, redirecting it toward Seeta and recognizing her influence as the seed from which his transformation grew. Her growing admiration for him becomes a quiet triumph, even as she remains engaged to the idea of their future together. On election day, Lingaraju resorts to last-minute tricks—hiding supporters and leaning on loans to sway votes—yet Seenu’s team stays steady. The turning point arrives when a postal ballot carried by Seeta to an adjacent village helps tilt the result in Seenu’s favor, breaking Lingaraju’s hold on power.

The story ends on a hopeful note: the village experiences a new dawn of reform, and the couple’s relationship moves from friendship to partnership as Seenu and Seeta marry. The film’s final frame celebrates community, courage, and renewal, underscoring how determination, integrity, and steadfast love can transform a town once paralyzed by fear and corruption.
