Outpost: Black Sun

Lena shadows Neurath during an interrogation in his Paraguay apartment. He taunts her about an active cabal of Nazi loyalists, and then dies of a heart attack. In the aftermath, Lena discovers a map of the former Yugoslavia, papers concerning Hunt, and a signet ring with a retractable key.

The mercenaries who arrived at the end of the first film breach the outpost and move into the complex. They are slaughtered by a battalion of zombie Waffen-SS troops led by Götz. Klausner watches the carnage via a helmet-cam, underscoring how far their reach extends.

In the former Yugoslavia, Lena meets physicist Wallace, who seeks the truth about the unified field theory and believes Hunt’s team may still be alive. He explains that a reality-bending electromagnetic field is expanding across the countryside, with its source at the outpost bunker. He warns that NATO rapid-reaction forces are secretly fighting the undead and that villagers are paying the price.

Lena and Wallace trek to a local militia camp, only to find it under SS attack. The militiamen and NATO soldiers are slaughtered, and Lena hides beneath a fallen soldier’s corpse to avoid detection. The next morning, they learn that the EMP failed to disable the machine protecting the SS guards.

A British SAS fireteam led by Macavoy and Abbot arrives and holds back the undead. They recruit Wallace as their engineer, and Macavoy orders Lena to leave them until reinforcements arrive.

Lena follows the SAS into the danger and helps them survive another SS attack. They reveal their mission: secure Die Glocke before a tactical nuclear strike on the bunker. They reach the outpost and trace the cabling to Die Glocke's engine room, discovering the device has been moved; Hunt’s documents and equations are graffitied on the walls, implying Klausner's people hired Hunt.

The lift descends into the underground, where they find the bodies of locals and mercenaries dumped by the SS. An undead SS matron leads the guards and attacks. Carlisle distracts the matron and is stabbed to death, a brutal reminder of the danger below. Wallace locates the control schematics and points them toward the containment chamber.

Wallace identifies the generator that powers the containment field and discovers Hunt's body wired to Die Glocke's large generator. Götz has boosted the EM emission range, expanding the field beyond the bunker. Abbot and Lena race to the containment chamber as the undead guards press their assault.

Abbot is killed in an ambush as Hall fends off a SS-Mann, and a struggle accidentally triggers flares. With communications down due to the EMP field, they can't call off the impending strike. Wallace manages to trigger an EMP wave that briefly disables nearby guards, enabling Hall to kill the matron and two other guards.

Hunt explains that only Black Sun personnel with the operating keys can power down the core. Lena produces Neurath's ring, the key to deactivate the core, but Götz tries to stop her. Hunt uses his last life force to discharge the core's containment energy into the reviving SS platoon, and Lena seizes the key and shuts down the waves, destroying Götz in the process.

Lena and Wallace reach the lift where the others are regrouped; Wallace suddenly executes Hall and wounds Lena, leaving her for dead, and escapes just before the outpost is bombed.

Sometime later, Wallace meets Klausner with one half of the core as a bargaining chip, while holding the other half at an auction. Lena survives the strike by hiding deep underground in the bunker and calls him, warning that she is coming for him and Klausner.
