The surviving soldiers discover that the alien vessel is a massive “farm” of frozen humans, and that the special‑forces team was taken not as prisoners but as trophies. After a brutal clash in the cargo hold, Rhodie volunteers to hold the alien guards while the others breach the communications hub. He locks the door behind him, destroys the three aliens inside and triggers an explosion that kills both them and himself, buying the group precious time.

Meanwhile, Anya, the Russian commander who has lived on the ship for decades, leads Ravi and Nash to plant charges that will wreck the alien’s rebuilt transmitter. When the aliens realize the sabotage, Anya stays behind, fighting off a swarm long enough for the charge to detonate, sacrificing herself to prevent the ship from calling for reinforcements.

The final showdown erupts in a prison‑like chamber where the remaining humans free the other captives. Kelly and Ravi confront the last alien, a hulking creature known as Scars. After a desperate melee, Kelly lures the monster into a revolving door and pulls the lever, causing the blades to snap shut and cleave the alien in two. With the alien threat finally eliminated, Kelly and Ravi escape the vessel and emerge into a devastated landscape that resembles a ruined Paris, hinting that Earth has survived the invasion even though the alien ship was hidden in a mountain. The film ends on the note that humanity, though scarred, has reclaimed its world.
