In Laguna Beach, California, we are introduced to brothers Josh and Jeff, and Jeff's girlfriend Megan. They are preparing for an audition for a reality game show, motivated by the chance to win a grand prize of $100,000.

Understanding the requirements for their audition tape, the trio decides to showcase their physical and mental strength through a Cage Diving experience. Jeff also purchases an underwater camera to capture their adventure.

Three days prior to their cage dive, the friends travel to Sydney, Australia, to visit their cousin Greg. They enjoy quality time together at the beach, strengthening family bonds before their adventure.

As they prepare for their upcoming dive, Greg organizes a send-off party to celebrate their reunion and impending adventure. Jeff records a heartfelt confession about proposing to Megan on the show, unaware of the affair brewing between her and Josh.

On the eve of the dive, the friends arrive in Adelaide to participate in the Shark Cage Dive Tour. The atmosphere thickens with tension when Jeff accidentally discovers footage of Megan's romantic moment with Josh.

The following day, after a safety briefing, the group boards a boat that sets out into the perilous shark-infested waters. Megan remains unconcerned, convinced that the cage will shield them from danger as they prepare to dive.

Disaster strikes as a massive wave capsizes the boat, throwing everyone into the treacherous ocean. In the chaos, the trio escapes the cage but soon finds themselves engulfed in a dangerous frenzy as sharks begin to circle.
