With the world facing a devastating flood and the animals seeking refuge on an ark, Dave and his son Finny, two clumsy Nestrians, find themselves sneaking aboard. Accompanied by Hazel and her daughter Leah, two Grymps, they believe they're safe, but when the children accidentally fall off, their adventure takes a dangerous turn. Finny and Leah must now survive the rising floodwaters and avoid hungry predators while attempting to reach the safety of a distant mountain. Meanwhile, Dave and Hazel must overcome their differences and turn the ark around to rescue the children in a race against time.
